Ashley & Brenden were married at one of my favorite and most picturesque venues in Connecticut, Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford. It was a super hot day (90+ degrees and humid!), but that didn't stop us from having an awesome time and making some great outdoor portraits. Ashley's father sang a wonderfully touching song after their first dance, and Brenden's brother gave one of the most touching and heartfelt speeches I've ever heard. All the feels!! We snuck out of the tent once it had cooled down a bit for some night portraits - they brought the cake out as we were returning (didn't want it to melt in the heat, after all) and they had one of the best cake-toppers I've ever seen...a little bobble-head style figurine of the two of them! It was too stinkin' cute :) Ashley, Brenden, and all their guests danced the night away, and let me tell you, these people know how to have a good time!
Thanks to my friend Chris Nachtwey for helping me out with this wedding - he "nachted" it out of the park!
